Special Announcement, Grandparent Weekend coming soon
Dear Parish Family:
"Forsake me not, O God, in my old age, when I am gray-headed,*
until I have proclaimed your strength to this generation,
and your power to all those who are yet to come." (Psalm 71:17, p.358 BCP)
It is the time of year when churches normally crank up their Annual Stewardship plans.
Notice I said "normally". The Apostle Paul wrote to his young protege':
"For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come." (2 Timothy 4:6). Paul is not simply slipping downstream and leaving the world quietly, he is leaving a legacy of faith in Christ.
Besides earthly treasures, what will you leave your children and grandchildren?
We need to pass down the most important treasure we will ever claim: our legacy of faith in Christ.
Please listen to this message below from Dr. David Jeremiah and consider where your thoughts go, your money goes, and your time goes.

In February 2021, St. Matthew's will be hosting "The Grand Weekend" when grandparents will experience the art of passing down their faith. It will be a great opportunity to reach far into the future generations of God's household.
Faithfully in Christ, we give our lives up to the Lord!
In His Love,
Rags+
